The Aftermath..
Yo -
what's good y'all. I got to witness DJ Premier blow the roof off Peddlers last night, all I can say is WOW. My mens 4PLAE got it in on the 1s and 2s (and 3s and 4s). Dope as always. And THEN.. Aside from putting it down for close to 2 hours, Preem has some of the best mic skills i've ever seen. The whole spot was with em from start to finish. EMCEES could learn from this guy, it was wild. Oh and of course BLAQ POET! Huaaaanhhnnhh! I'm gonna learn how to actually spell that shit and get it tattooed on my chest. Mad people out, I came very close to fucking up the Reeboks a number of times but pulled it off. What a huge night for hip hop in Halifax, BIG BIG shouts to the guys at Underdog Productions for putting this on, as well as LIFTED. THANK YOU!

Lemme take ya to Flight School..
Sooo.. it's Tuesday night, just a little bit past midnite and your boy is loungin. Just watched the Address to Congress which just further confirmed Barack is that DUDE!
Beyond that, I wanted to take a couple minutes to hop on the blog and get some thoughts out.
I love Hip Hop. I can say unequivocally that without it my life would be upside down. It still amazes me sometimes that I can get on a stage in a bar full of people who i've never met, and connect with every single one of them. The way I see it is.. most of the rhymes I write are just things I feel a certain way about (women, rapping, sneakers, love) and I take the art form as serious as life, but I just say these things because they're fun to me. I don't make music to preach to people. I don't make it strictly for funds (cause TRUST, I would've gave up a while ago ha haaa) I just talk about my real life. And when people relate to your boy it's INCREDIBLE.
I love being in the studio. The spot is home. It's like the ball court to LeBron, or the runway to sexy ass Tyra Banks (hi Jackie). It's where nothing matters but making great records. Speaking of which, the solo jaunt is coming. I don't have a date, or cover, or tracklisting for y'all but I PROMISE it will be some next shit.
And finally, some shouts. Thank you to every DJ whose ever played my shit. To every girl whose ever told me I was beautiful. Anybody whose ever booked me (and paid me) for shows. Umm, thanks to all the musicians, emcees and beatmkers that inspire. And also, Taraji P Henson for bein' BAD as FUCK.

Reebok x Chapter World - Juggernaut Pack
2009 marked the beginning of the release of several packs premiering from Reebok including the Reebok - Miami Vice Pack and Reebok Pump Omni Lite - Monsters Pack. Here's another pack to add to that list; the Reebok x Chapter World - Juggernaut Pack. Two more sneakers have been created as the result of a collaboration between Reebok and Chapter World of Japan.
The Pump Omni Lite and Court Victory Pump are the shoes they choose to work with. The Omni Lite is composed of an all blue base with matching shoe-laces as well as a blue in-sole. The same goes for the all red Court Victory Pump. Each shoe has the Juggernaut character from Chapter World drawn on the inner sole.

Nike Zoom MVP: Young Guns Player Exclusives
Young Gun’s Brandon Roy and Deron Williams have had their own player exclusive versions of the Nike Zoom MVP mocked up. It isn’t clear whether or not either player will be wearing these on the court but it’s a nice change of pace for each from the forgettable Nike Blue Chip and the hit or miss Zoom Phenom. Each shoe features the player’s nickname on the lateral heel portion above the midsole and a colorway representative of their team. Also look for the use of multiple materials and textures on each pair. It’d be nice to see these get a release like the previous Young Gun’s sneakers, meaning an easy cop at Eastbay. And yes, there’s a player exclusive colorway yet to be seen for fellow Young Gun Rudy Gay as well.

KID CUDI TASERED AND ARRESTED AT AN NBA ALL-STAR PARTY
Rapper Kid Cudi has been involved in an altercation that has resulted in the Cleveland native being tasered and apprehended by authorities, according to multiple sources.
Detail are sketchy, but the rapper apparently was involved in a fight or altercation while at the Reebok party in Phoenix, Arizona. Much of the music industry is in the city celebrating the NBA's popular All-Star weekend.
Eyewitnesses stated that Kid Cudi physically and verbally confronted a pair of Reebok employees. The artist was booked by the apparel company to perform at the venue.
Sources said that Cudi wanted to wear Jordan sneakers on stage, a move that did not agree with the people of Reebok.
Authorities intervened after the confrontation escalated and Cudi was tasered, a move to control his behavior.
The rapper was presumed arrested by police, but actual charges have not been revealed.
A representative for Kid Cudi was not available at press time.
Allen Iverson, a Reebok endorsed athlete, attended the party.
